EDWARD ALEXANDER GREEN On Thursday, April 25, 2002 at the Beausejour District Hospital, Beausejour, MB, Edward Green, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Muriel Green of Belair, MB. Besides his loving wife Muriel, he leaves to cherish his children, Wayne (Margaret), Robert (Carolyn), Ruggles (Elizabeth), Lorne (Erin) and Dorothy (Michael) and his grandchildren, Christina (Jeff), Brent (Christine), Kim (Glen), Jason (Tracy), Jenny (Sean), Tim (Charlene), Nathan (Christine), Garett (Theresa), Katie, Hillary, Stewart as well as 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Nelson (Anne) and two nieces, Gail (Mel) and Janice (John). Edward was predeceased by his parents, Ruggles Alexander and Nettie Green; a sister Margaret Hemminger and her husband Chris. Edward worked as a commercial fisherman, mink rancher, cutting pulp wood in the bush. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and lived his entire life living and raising his family in the Belair area. Cremation has taken place and a committal service will take place on Tuesday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Victoria Beach Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Edwards memory may be made to the Rainbow Society of Manitoba.
