Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERNEST ETIENNE GREGOIRE Ernest Gregoire, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2002 at the age of 82. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Eveline (nee Harrison), his sister Soeur Juliette, and his brother-in-law Mark (Barbara). He leaves to remember him his 10 children, Roger (Jantie), Robert (Marilyn), Huguette (Bob), Annette, Charlie (Ann), Carmaine (Peter), Carole (Don), Marc, Michelle (Bud) and Monique. Also mourning the loss of their grandfather are Jean Paul (Christina), Henri (Carole), Joelle (Mario), Chad, Vennessa, Robert, Suzanne, Erin, Nadine, Genevieve, Jesse, Patrick, Roland, Samantha, Fraser, Ben, Paul, Lorne, Janelle, Harry, Chantal, Willis; and of their great-grandfather, Breanne, Jadon, Sara and Cora. Ernest was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Irma (nee Baril) by his brothers, Raymond, Tony, Lucien; and his sister Liliane; by his fathers-in-law, Raphael and Jean; and his mother-in-law Marie-Anne. Dad was a kind and gentle man who lovingly devoted his life to his family. He was equally committed to serving his community as well as his construction partners at F.W.Sawatzky. Dad also enjoyed spending his time playing cards, dice, scrabble and even board-sailing at the cottage. When faced with the adversity of his illness, his life was exemplified by dignity and courage. His quiet presence will be greatly missed. The family would like to extend its sincere appreciation to Dr. Coates, Dr. Bracken and Dr. Davidson and to the staff of 7A South, St. Boniface General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Manitoba Cancer Society. Prayer service will be held at the Precieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny St. in St. Boniface, on Monday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Marcel Chaput the following morning, Tuesday, April 30 at 10:30 a.m., also at the church. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Interment of Ernests cremated remains will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens at a later date. "Thank you for being who you are." LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.

Bonjour Papa:) I always get the dates mixed up, the 24th or the 26th.? Two days ago marked the 13th year that you left us. It was very fast and unexpected and I think about that a lot. When I left you, you seemed like you were ready for more challenge but in the end I am not surprised that you decided to leave.
