JOHN TKACHUK April 23, 1918 - March 27, 2002 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Tkachuk on March 27, 2002 at the Concordia Hospital with family by his side. He is survived by wife Ethel, children, Bev (Tom), Lauvern (Byron), Serge, and Sharon (Butch) grandchildren, Lisa and Brad; brother George, sister Marrianne (Con), sister Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Service and burial was held at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on April 2. In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away. You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be So He put His arms around you And whispered "Come with Me" So when we saw you sleeping So peaceful and free from pain, We could not wish you back To suffer that again. Always remembered, always cherished, always loved. We miss you Dad and Grandpa.
