He was known for his kindness, generosity and his wonderful stories. He grew up in St. Vital. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, hockey and golfing. There he met wonderful friends, whom he maintained friendships with throughout his life. Jack had many different careers, mainly in sales. His latter years were spent at Sears, Polo Park, through to his retirement in 1995. He especially enjoyed summers where he spent time at Grand Beach and going for daily walks. He enjoyed singing and being the life of the party. Jack was an avid sports fan. He loved to attend Bomber games and enjoyed watching all sporting events. Jack, throughout his lifetime, enjoyed travel and annual trips to Jamaica in the wintertime. He was very fortunate that he was able to make his last trip this December. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. We sat beside your bedside, Our hearts were crushed and sore, We did our duty to the end, Til we could do no more, In tears we watched you sinking, We watched you fade away, And though our hearts were breaking, We knew you could not stay, You left behind some aching hearts, That loved you most sincere, We never shall and never will, Forget you. May he rest in Peace dear Jesus, In the Heavenly home above, With the sacred heart of Jesus, In his own eternal love.
