TIJAY WILSON (nee DESSER) Tijay passed away peacefully on April 28, 2002 at Kelowna General Hospital. Born in Krzemieniec, Poland she came to Canada as a young child. Tijay is survived by her loving husband Keith; daughters, Marilynn, Rory, Joey (Lorne) and Candis; brothers, Max (Clara) and Al (Betty) grandchildren, Alan, Robyn, Jesse, Jaime, and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Maurice, Oscar, Mark and sister Francis (Brumer). Tijay was a member of the Rosh Pina Choir for 25 years as well as an active member of the Winnipeg musical community. Tijay and husband Keith moved to Langley, BC in 1984 and for the past 15 years have resided in Kelowna. Tijays greatest joy was her home and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A gathering of family and friends was held at her home on May 1.
