ETHEL MARGARET WITHERS FRIESEN 1913 - 2002 Ethel Margaret Withers Friesen passed away on April 12, 2002 at age 89. She is lovingly remembered by her son Peter (Nancy) of Calgary, AB and daughter Roberta (Fritz) Grothe of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, William U.; sisters, Ruth, Flossie, Lucille; and her parents. Ethel was born and raised in Cartwright, MB and spent her early married life travelling the province. She finally settled in Winnipeg to raise a family and resided there for over 50 years. Ethel taught her children to always follow the golden rule, always do your best, and never give up. A private family ceremony was held on April 19 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
