Audrey was born Thursday, March 1, 1934 at Grand Rapids, MB, the eldest daughter of Dan and Angelique Cook. When she was 18 she moved to The Pas and worked as a Nurses aide at St. Anthonys General Hospital. She married Hubert Sinclair, Tuesday, January 4, 1955 and together they raised 12 children. Through the early years of their marriage, she worked side by side with her husband, hunting, fishing and trapping. When Hubert moved to The Pas to pursue a career as vice-president of the MMF The Pas Local, Audrey stayed behind to fish their licenses. She then joined Hubert at The Pas and worked at Guy Hill Residential School until it closed. Hubert and Audrey moved back to Grand Rapids and returned to fishing among other endeavours. She then began working as an ambulance attendant/driver for more than 10 years. When Hubert became ill and needed constant care, Audrey was by his side until his passing Sunday, July 5, 1998.
