I remember when Uncle Pete passed. Whenever we would come from Toronto to visit him, aunty Lena, uncle Mike, uncle Jerry and aunty Ann, and other relatives on my dad's side I always liked to be around uncle Pete. He had a perpetual smile and such a kind face that I can still see in my mind's eye. My mother (his sister) Elsie Proskin passed last month (Dec. 2022) so I have been looking up relatives and not sure why I didn't do this sooner. My dad, Edward Proskin passed suddenly in 1968 and I trust that they are all together now and enjoying the unconditional love that exists beyond this realm. May they be reunited with their loved ones and even their siblings who passed when they were children. God bless their parents Ann(ie) and Nicholas Matiation (Matiashyn) who had 11 children and lived on their farm in Seech, Manitoba after arriving here from western Ukraine in the early 1900's. with gratitude, Elaine - Posted by: Elaine Cerro (nee Proskin) (niece) on: Jan 14, 2023
