I knew the Wieffering Family (primarily Gerry and Thea) when they first came to Canada and I knew Fred and Irene in the days when they were a young couple. In looking for a notice about Thea's passing, I came upon Irene's obituary and the lovely tribute posted by Anita. Anita~ It is truly moving to see how much you love your Mom. Cherish your memories, continue "talking" to her - and know that her spirit is always with you. - Posted by: Barbara Murphy (family friend from long ago) on: Mar 18, 2014

I just like to say that I have been missing my mom since she passed away and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her. I still pray to her and talk to her picture and wish that she is still with me. I will alway remember the days when I came home from school and she would have the dining room table full of baking. The house would aways smell of fresh cookies, cakes and pies. - Posted by: Anita Brown (Daughter) on: May 03, 2012
