ROBERT "BOB" LAWRENCE HARRISON It is with great sadness the family of Robert "Bob" Lawrence Harrison announces his passing on May 7, 2002 after a short, but courageous battle with cancer. Robert is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lesley Lynne Harrison of Saskatoon and their three daughters and five grandchildren: Roberta (Richard) and their children, Randy and Robyn Pilling of Wabamun, AB; Brenda Harrison and her children, Lyla and Jake Sweeney of Saskatoon, SK; Kathleen (Randy) and their son Kyle Schuler. Also surviving are Roberts two sisters, Connie (Eddie) Buss of Beausejour, MB and Sylvia (Jerry) Lesosky of Port Albernie, BC; and a brother Alvin Harrison of Winnipeg, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Alvin Edwin Harrison in 1990 and his mother Evelyn Elizabeth Harrison in 1992. Robert was born in Seven Sisters Falls, MB. He graduated from Whitemouth Collegiate. After leaving school, Robert went to work for Pittsburgh Paints in Winnipeg. After leaving there, Robert gained employment with Canadian General Electric and joined the Toastmasters Club. He later transferred to Saskatoon, then to Regina before coming back to settle down in Saskatoon, Robert worked for Neon Products selling signs, then ran his own business as a travelling sales agent. In 1984 he found his calling as a furniture salesperson at Wolfe Home Furnishings where he came to meet and befriend many people along the way. Robert enjoyed being with people and his work. He was a fantastic salesman and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. Some of Roberts special interests were hunting, fishing, construction and horses. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The funeral service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Monday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m., officiated by Joan Brown. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon, SK at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greg Lalach of Park Funeral Chapel, Saskatoon, SK, (306) 244 2103.
