ACHILLE TAUFFENBACH Peacefully in his sleep, after a long battle with cancer, Achille Tauffenbach, beloved husband of Laure Tauffenbach (nee Lafrance), of Ste. Anne, MB, passed away on May 5, 2002, at the age of 82 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Jean Baptiste and Marie-Blandine (nee Curtaz) his sisters, Grace, Reine and Lil; brothers, Constant, Lorenzo and twin brother Camille. He is survived by his loving wife Laure; his son Camil (Therese Owen) grandson Riley and granddaughter Autumn; his sisters, Ann Phair and Rose-Annette McCarthy; his very special niece Evelyne; numerous nieces and nephews. Pepere always lived life to its fullest, with a smile on his face. he was known for his "joie de vivre". Pepere wasnt afraid to shed a tear of joy with the pride that he felt while being with his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and take on the official duty of job foreman for various projects. He loved being outdoors, especially working in the bush during the winter months. God has taken Pepere to join his beloved angel Bebe Richard. Special thanks to all the staff at the Ste. Anne Hospital for the care and compassion given to Pepere, as well as to his friends and relatives who visited him in the past few months. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Rene Chartier presiding. Honorary pallbearers will be, Adrien Gay, Jeffrey Dolenuck, Mervin Anderson and Dave Stoetzel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peperes memory, may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
