Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERNEST JOSEPH VERMETTE (PETE) Peacefully, on May 4, 2002, in Riverview Health Centre at the age of 92 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Marie, of 64 years, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph in 1997; and three nephews, Rene in 1968, Marcel 1990, and Roland 2001. Born January 26, 1910, he was raised in St. Boniface and worked for the City of St. Boniface until his retirement. He loved his "Old Time" music and enjoyed dancing. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Chapel, Highway No. 1 East at Navin Road, with Fr. Ron Leger officiating. Active pallbearers will be Bert Vermette, Roger Vermette, Edward Vermette, Ronald Vermette, Brian Vermette and Bob Vermette. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
