MARCEL DEROCHE Entoure de lamour de sa nombreuse famille, Marcel Deroche est decede le dimanche 5 mai, 2002 a lHopital Notre-Dame de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes a lage de 74 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son epouse bien-aimee Lorraine (Aminot), ses enfants et quatorze petits enfants : Diane (Guy, Jolyne, Rejean) Roch, Lilliane (Hubert, Stephane, David) Chappellaz, Jacqueline (Roger, Jude, Rheanne) Vermette, Patricia (Claude, Justin, Matthieu) Vuignier, Guy (Nicole, Josee, Caleb), Eileen (Dan, Chloe, Celeste) Dorge, et Gerald (Colette, Ian et Julien). Il laisse egalement son frere Andre (Helen), sa belle-mere, Josephine Aminot ainsi que ses beaux-freres et belles-soeurs: Doris Rusk, Lucille Vermiere, Ronald (Simone) Aminot, Fernand (Jeannette) Aminot, Rita (Normand) LeFloch, Jeannette (Andre) Durand, Suzanne (Charles) Durand, Lionel (Diane) Aminot, Paul (Clemence) Aminot et Paulette (Norman) Berard, ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nieces. Il est precede dans le deuil par ses parents, Jean-Baptiste et Josephine (LeNeal) Deroche, sa belle-mere, Jeanne Galliot-Deroche, et son frere Lionel Deroche, son beau-pere Jean Aminot, ses beaux-freres Gilbert Aminot et Jules Vermiere, une niece, Brenda Durand et un neveu, Laurie Durand. Marcel a grandi a Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes et cest a lage de 11 ans quil perdit sa mere. Jeune homme, il entreprit de conduire le transfert avant de commencer a travailler dans lentreprise familiale, Notre Dame Motors, avec son pere, jusqua la mort de ce dernier, ou il en devint proprietaire. Avec son epouse Lorraine, il eleva une nombreuse famille et batit son entreprise pour la transmettre a ses fils a sa retraite. Au village, il a egalement laisse sa marque; conseiller au premier conseil du village, au conseil du manoir et celui de lhopital, premier chef de la brigade a feu, et Chevalier de Colomb, son devouement a sa communaute se fit connaitre. Il fut un pere et un grand-pere exceptionnel et su transmettre a ses enfants et a ses petits-enfants les valeurs de lunite familiale, du travail et de lamour. Il aimait etre entoure de sa famille et sera toujours pour elle son ancre. Sa presence, sa force et son bon sens dhumour lui manqueront beaucoup. Incineration aura eu lieu. Des prieres seront recitees a la chapelle funeraire Adam le mardi 7 mai 2002 a 20 h. Le service religieux aura lieu le mercredi 8 mai 2002 a 14 h a leglise catholique de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Au lieu de fleurs, les personnes interessees sont invitees a faire un don a lHopital Notre-Dame de Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes. Les arrangements ont ete confies au Salon Mortuaire Adam. He leaves in mourning his loving wife Lorraine (Aminot) his children and 14 grandchildren, Diane (Guy, Jolyne, Rejean) Roch, Lilliane (Hubert, Stephane, David) Chappellaz, Jacqueline (Roger, Jude, Rheanne) Vermette, Patricia (Claude, Justin, Matthieu) Vuignier, Guy (Nicole, Josee, Caleb), Eileen (Dan, Chloe, Celeste) Dorge, et Gerald (Colette, Ian et Julien). He also leaves in mourning his brother Andre (Helen) his mother-in-law Josephine Aminot; as well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Doris Rusk, Lucille Vermiere, Ronald (Simone) Aminot, Fernand (Jeannette) Aminot, Rita (Normand) LeFloch, Jeannette (Andre) Durand, Suzanne (Charles) Durand, Lionel (Diane) Aminot, Paul (Clemence) Aminot and Paulette (Norman) Berard, and numerous nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Jean-Baptiste and Josephine (LeNeal) Deroche; his stepmother Jeanne Galliot-Deroche; his brother Lionel Deroche; his father-in-law Jean Aminot; his brothers-in-law, Gilbert Aminot and Jules Vermiere; a niece, Brenda Durand and a nephew, Laurie Durand. Marcel grew up in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes and it was at the tender age of 11 that he lost his mother. As a young man, he drove the transfer before eventually going to work in the family business, Notre Dame Motors, of which he became owner after his fathers death. With his wife Lorraine, he raised a large family and built his business to finally pass it on to his sons when he retired. He also left his mark in the town of Notre Dame: councillor in the first town council, on the manors and hospitals councils, first fire chief and member of the Knights of Columbus. His devotion to his community made itself known. He was an exceptional father and grandfather who passed on to his children and grandchildren the values of family unity, hard work and love. He loved being surrounded by his family and will always be its anchor. His presence, his strength and his unique sense of humour will certainly be missed. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be held in Adams funeral chapel on Tuesday May 7, at 8:00 p.m. Religious services will be held in the Notre Dame Church on Wednesday May 8, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Notre Dame hospital.
