ANN NANCY GWISDAK Peacefully on May 7, 2002 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Ann Gwisdak, aged 87 years, of Winnipeg and formerly of Pleasant Home, MB. Ann was predeceased by her husband Peter, a brother Walter, and a sister Frances. She leaves surviving two daughters, Grace Cansdale (Reg) of Oakbank, and Diane Gwisdak of Winnipeg; two grand-children, Rodney Cansdale (Rhonda) of Dewinton, AB, and Sharon Cory (Michael) of Winnipeg; five great-grandchildren; a sister Ivy Thompson of Rivercrest, MB; and a brother Mike Walchuk of Winnipeg Beach; as well as nieces and nephews. Ann was born in Pleasant Home, MB on September 17, 1914. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and doing crossword puzzles. Ann will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family. A private family funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Winnipeg Beach, with Fr. Art Seaman officiating.
