EDNA SARAH LANGRELL August 11, 1916 - May 7, 2002 Peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at Deer Lodge Centre, Edna Sarah Langrell, beloved wife of Victor Langrell of Woodlands, MB. She will be very sadly missed by her husband Victor; children, Grace (Bob) Stein, Ronald (Joy), Shirley (Cyril) Irwin, Gordon (Myra), Harold (Lynn) grandchildren, Penny (Pat), Teri (Dan), Casey, Jordan, Heidi, Michael (Marni), Darryl (Kamal), Tyson (Colleen), Ryan, Holly; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Ethan, Taylor, Madison, MacKenzie; sisters, Kay and Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews. Edna was born on August 11, 1916 and lived in Winnipeg, MB until she met and married Victor in 1939. They lived in Woodlands on the farm for their 62 years of marriage. Ednas life centered around raising her family, her love for them and her strong faith in God. She enjoyed her plants and flowers, as well as bowling, fishing, playing games and scrabble with family and friends. Grandma always treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service to celebrate Ednas life will be held on Friday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Laurie Barth will officiate. Interment will follow at the Meadow Lea Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Gospel Chapel, 337 Inglewood St., Winnipeg, MB R3J 1X1 or a charity of your choice.
