RANDALL BRUCE MARCHAND It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of their beloved brother, Randall Bruce Marchand, on April 28, 2002, in Edmonton, AB. Randy was born September 23, 1946, in Winnipeg, MB, and was predeceased by his father Albert, mother Adele, sister Dorothy Marchand and infant brother Gordon. Randy is survived by his cherished children, Jacqueline, Jeff and Brooke; and wife Eva. He leaves to mourn brothers, Ken (Anne) of Calgary, Donald (Claire) of Courtenay, BC, Craig (Barb) of Winnipeg; sisters, Leona (Theo) Linklater of Burlington, ON, Corrine (Bill) Hays of Bowen Island, BC; Judy Marchand of Winnipeg; Joanna (Merv) McAskie of Oakbank, MB; Renee Marchand of Calgary; and Raymonde Marchand (Gerry Kolesar) of Winnipeg. In 1997, after 31 years of dedicated service, Randy retired from the RCMP. He kept in close contact with his many friends and always had a good story to tell and a kind word to say. Cremation took place on April 30 with a memorial service in celebration of Randys life on May 3. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Inspector Peter Wlodarczak (Retired) for the wonderful eulogy, to RCMP Piper, Graham Neville, and to all of Randys extended RCMP "family" for their kindness and consideration. A special thank you to Randys close friends, Ernie Othwaite of Lethbridge and Dean Conrad and family of Edmonton, for their care and attention given to Randy during his illness.
