Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA DIANE GOODWIN (nee NELSON) With her loving family around her, Linda died peacefully at home on the evening of May 6, 2002 at the age of 52 years. For almost two years she had been courageously fighting cancer. Linda was part of a close family. She will be loved, remembered and always missed by her husband, Guy and sons, Christopher and Garth; parents, Margaret and Norman Nelson; brother John Nelson and his wife Margy and their sons, Bryce and Sean; mother-in-law Barbara Goodwin; sister-in-law Anne Crossley and her husband Jim and their daughters, Catherine and April, as well as many cousins and aunts. Linda will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Because of Lindas warmth and caring, she had numerous friends in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Kenora and many other parts of Canada. She will also be remembered by students and colleagues in St. Albert. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Smylie (and team), Dr. Tim Winton and Dr. Helen Hays. A funeral service will be held at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home on Saturday, May 11 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Dennis Vavrek, OFM officiating, cremation to follow.
