ERIC ANTHONY JOHN SICHEWSKI It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Sichewski, at the tender age of 25 at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto, ON on Wednesday, May 8, 2002 with family and friends at his side. His memory will be cherished by his father Ernie Sichewski; mother Gail Okowinsky; brothers, Jonathan Sichewski and Todd Povey; sister Shelly Rozon and husband Jim Bouchard; niece Danielle; nephew Brendan; close friends, Mark, Norman and Dan of Toronto, Gabe of Winnipeg and a large extended family. Eric was born in Winnipeg on November 15, 1976. He lived his early life in Transcona where he attended an English-Ukrainian program of which he was proud to speak. He then moved from Transcona to Lindenwoods where he attended and graduated from Shaftsbury High School. He was an excellent student who excelled in the computer and graphic arts field. Following graduation he owned and operated Superior Trophies for three years. But his love for music combined with his outstanding computer problem solving skills drew him to a career at HMV Canada which eventually led him to Toronto as a store support analyst supporting both Canadian and American stores. Eric, in his short life, enriched the lives of everyone around him with his energy, enthusiasm and his compassionate spirit. Erics family wishes to thank and extend their appreciation to the medical, nursing and support staff at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto for their excellent care and compassion. Special thanks to nurses Helen and Lori and Chaplain Pat. The family would also like to thank HMV Canada for all their generous support and compassion. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day St. with interment following in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
