Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFERNANDE JEANNE CLIMO (nee JARNOUIN) Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Fernande Jeanne Climo passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on May 8, 2002 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph; her mother and father, Aurore and Ernest Jarnouin and her brother Louis Jarnouin. Left to cherish her memory are Patty (Henry) Xie; her sisters, Yvonne Wittevrongel, Rollande (Bill) Walker; her brother Lionel (Agnes) Jarnouin as well as many other relatives and good friends. Ferne was especially proud of her service in the army. During that time, she met, fell in love and married Ralph Climo. Upon her discharge she worked in many different places; ammunitions plant in Toronto, the Post Office in Calgary and lastly as a Care Attendant in Port Alberni. She retired at 65 from the Fir Park Village Care Home in Port Alberni. She then moved to Winnipeg in the fall of 1999, where she enjoyed gambling occasionally at the Casino and entertaining good friends. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18 at St. Gerards Roman Catholic Church, 45 Foster St. A gathering of friends and relatives will follow in the Desjardins Funeral Chapels reception centre at 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9 or to a charity of your choice.
