Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KRISTINA JANKE Mary passed away peacefully at Central Park Lodge on April 24, 2002, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Max; and her parents Mary and Mathew Kurtz; and 10 brothers and sisters; also a son-in-law Bazil; and grandson Nick Ryzniguk. Mary came to Canada from Poland in 1930, and soon afterwards married Max. They farmed in Golden Bay for 14 years, then moved to Marquette and farmed for 19 years. After that they retired and lived in Winnipeg, where Mary worked at sewing until she retired. She cared for Max for many years while he was ill with cancer. After when he passed on, she stayed at the Quest Inn Life Care Centre. She was a good mom and looked after her home and family well and will be sadly missed. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Ryzniguk, (Wayne and MaryAnne) sons, Herbert (Lorranine), children, Bradley and Randy; Alphonse (Eva), child Calvin; Harvey (Gail), child Jonathan; daughter Audrey Wight (Terry) and child Sean; great-grandchildren, Bill, Christopher, Justin, Tyler, Cole, Tristan and Peyton. Funeral service will be held at Meadowlea Hall, Monday, May 13 at 2 :00 p.m. Directions to the Meadowlea Hall are: drive down Inkster, west to Rosser, to Marquette, then 4 miles north on 248 to Mealowlea Hall. The family would like to gratefully thank the staff of the Central Park Lodge (Parkview Place) and Dr. Griggs for their kind care.
