RUTH VICTORIA JONES Peacefully on May 9, 2002, at the Arborg Personal Care Home, Ruth Jones, aged 84 years, or Riverton, MB. Ruth had lived at Hecla, MB for about 20 years before moving to Riverton where she spent the last 30 years. She enjoyed knitting, reading, walking and "recycling" to earn extra money. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Mansell in 1976; a son Lyle in 1991, and a son Nelson in infancy. She leaves surviving a son Paul (Marion) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Melanie, Douglas and Crystal; several sisters and brothers; and her friends from the Riverton Lodge and Adult Day Care. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Circle Church in Riverton, with Pastor Neil von Gunten officiating. Interment in the Riverton Community Cemetery.
