Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKORNELIUS DYCK Kornelius Dyck was born in Ostervich, Ukraine on February 22, 1924. On May 12, 2002, after a short illness, with family at his side he passed away. He was predeceased by his mother Maria (Penner) father Kornelius; brother Peter; sister Anna; brother Dieter and son Peter. He leaves to mourn his wife Maria (Vogt) children, Maria (Peter) Ewert, Hans (Nell) Dyck, Helene (Bill) Cockriell, Linda (Ken) Barnett, Ingrid (Bob) McIlvenna, Karin (Greg) Zakaluk; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn two sisters; one brother; many sisters-in-law and brother-in-laws and their families. The family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to staff in ICU and staff on the third floor of Concordia Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Viewing, Thursday, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the chapel and prior to the service. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Edward Dyck, Ramona Scott, Ryan Dyck, Cory Cockriell, Patricia McIlvenna and Shane Zakaluk. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Urban Angling Program, Manitoba Wildlife Federation, 70 Stevenson Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0W7. The family requests that in Dads memory, you make time to "take a buddy fishing". Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
