JOSEPHINE (JOSIE) LARKIN (nee ST. GERMAIN) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Josie, aged 77, passed away at the Grace Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2002. Josie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Paul. She will also be missed by her children and their spouses, Gail and Hoss Schell, John and Barbara, Andy and Diana, Howard and Verna, and Donna and Greg Olson. Josie also leaves her precious jewels, her grandchildren, Heidi and her husband Ken Reimer, Harlo, Melissa, Jill, Jodi, Kristina, Kara, Kailey, Kendra, Brigette, Molly and Blake. Josie will be remembered by her sisters, Rita Smith, Eva and Howard Liddicoat, Therese and Bill Hunter, Alice and Bi Tremblay, Margaret and Arnie Risbey; her brother Marcel St. Germain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Josie was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Denise; her sister Juliette Beaudin; her brothers-in-law, Walter Smith and Leo Carpenter; and her sister-in-law Rose St. Germain. Mom was a quiet, gentle woman who will be missed by all. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A reception will follow. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Josie may be made to the "Guatemala School Project" c/o 10-480 Chalfont Rd., Winnipeg, MB, R3R 3V4.
