Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA GAIL SCOTT Barbara, born in Thunder Bay in 1950, passed away on May 12, 2002 in Winnipeg. She will be sorely missed by her parents, Jack and Betty Scott of Westbank, BC; her sisters, Wendy Strachan of Regina, Nancy Scott (Gord Penner) of Port Moody, BC., Linda Scott (Bill Thompson) of Calgary, AB. She will be warmly remembered by her aunt Vera (Ray) Sisson of Regina and her uncle Bob Girvin of London, ON. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews who loved to visit their "Auntie Barb". Barb graduated from University of Regina with an Education degree in 1974. She was a dedicated teacher at Wilfred Hunt and Ethyl Milliken Schools in Regina as well as at Charleswood and Westdale Junior High Schools in Winnipeg. She had many friends in Regina, Winnipeg and Saskatoon. She cherished her dogs, McDuff, Jazz and Peanut, and enjoyed her association with the many other dog-owners who frequented Bourkevale Park. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. on Thursday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. Many thanks to the staff of the Manitoba Cancer Care Unit at the Health Sciences Centre and the Palliative Home Care Unit.
