HOWARD BRYAN PETERSON January 1, 1948 - May 14, 2002 Left his family and friends to be with his Heavenly Father after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Howard was born and raised in Selkirk, and was the very first for the "New Years Baby" tradition in this town. Howard was predeceased by his parents, John and Rosella Peterson and his sister Doreen. He will be lovingly remembered by his family, Eric (Bonnie), David, Larry, Ken, Linda (Lorne) numerous nieces and nephews, and many good friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB with Pastor Ray Settee officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. For God so loved the world, That He gave His only begotten Son, That whosoever believeth in Him should not parish, But have everlasting life. John 3:16 In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Howards name to the Selkirk Palliative Care Unit, Box 5000 Easton Drive, Selkirk, MB, R1A 2M2.
