Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDA BLANCO On Thursday, May 16, 2002, a very dear sister, aunt and friend lost her battle with cancer at the age of 81 years. Freda was born July 11, 1920, at the family home, Lowe Farm, MB. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Elsie Krueger; two brothers, Charlie and William; sister-in-law Dora; brother-in-law Langan Kukelko; and most recently her husband of 59 years, Robert, in December 2001. She is survived by a sister Erna Kukelko; and aunt Anne Peterson; sisters-in-law, Elsie, Eva and Jean Blanco; and special nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved, Will (Judy) Kukelko, Robert (Lois) Krueger, Doug (Brenda) Blanco, Garry (Marilyn) Blanco, Dale (Susanne) Blanco, Sheila (Dennis) Bamford, Cheryl (Wayne) Zorn, Theresa (George) Milne. She will be fondly remembered by great-nephews and nieces, Jared and Jennifer (my dear Jenny) Kukelko who were a special part of her life and Justin (Analeza) and Jessica Krueger whose visits inspired her. Through the years Freda touched the lives of many people, especially Della Motz and family, Irene Bandy, Blanche Cardinal and Michael Allison, but today, an immeasurable loss is felt by two friends, Edward Kernaghan and Shirley Nicholson whose close friendship over the past 45 years will deeply affect their lives until they see one another again in the paradise earth Jehovah God has promised. In her early years Freda was employed by The Crescent Creamery, and she was also a seamstress for many years. Freda was presently a member of the Wolever Park Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses, and for the past 52 years actively shared her hope in Jehovahs Kingdom with others and looked forward to the time when "No resident will say I am sick" (Isaiah 33:24). Her firm faith in the resurrection sustained her through her illness. Special thanks to all members of the Wolever Park Congregation for their support, and also to friends Lucille and Mary for their constant loving care, home care givers and Palliative Care nurse Brenda Smith. There will be a viewing on Monday, May 20 at 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway at Furby. Interment will take place Tuesday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Garry Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1060 Wolever Ave., west entrance, with Mr. Anthony Markham presiding. Active pallbearers will be Edward Kernaghan, Will Kukelko, Robert Krueger, Doug, Garry and Dale Blanco. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
