Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANE E. LYNN MATCHETT Lynn passed away on Friday, May 10, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband T.H. Stewart Matchett on November 10, 1976. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Topping; and her sons, Chris and Mike of Toronto; her son Edward, his wife Sandra and their children, Cassandra and Aidan of New Germany, NS; and her daughter Colleen, her husband Guy Mullen and their children, Jennifer of Winnipeg and Jeffrey of Altona, MB. Lynn was born August 10, 1914 in Northallerton, Yorkshire, England. She served in the Royal Navy as a Nursing Sister from 1940 - 1946. Lynn worked right up until the age of 77, the last 28 years as a nurse for Dr. Jack Fainman. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, 105 - 386 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB. A special thank you to the many care givers who spent time with Mom, in particular, Elizabeth Lewis, who has become a member of our family. In accordance with Lynns wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on June 10 at the Baldur Cemetery, Baldur, MB. A memorial luncheon will be held at Wiltons Restaurant, 1113 Corydon Ave., Winnipeg on June 11 at 2:00 p.m. "Mom, we will always love you, and take comfort in knowing that you have been reunited with Dad."
