ELIZABETH WAGG (nee BENDER) July 20, 1911 - May 16, 2002 Passed away peacefully after a prolonged struggle with Alzheimers. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1978; her sister Emma Bateman and her brothers, William R. and Phillip J.; parents, Anna Marie (Harth) and Philippe Bender. Beth will be lovingly remembered and missed by her twin sons, Brian (Judy) and Bruce (Teresa) niece Carol Harris and nephew Allan Bateman and families. Beth was a warm hearted, caring person devoted to family and friends. She had many memorable times with family at the cottage in the Whiteshell. She cherished her regular Bridge games and was actively involved in John Black Memorial United Church, Group 6, and valued the companionship of her many true friends. She loved growing her favourite vegetables and flowers in the garden. The family acknowledges Elsa Von Kampen, for her compassionate care and support. Many thanks to the staff at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg for their devotion, kindness and loving care. According to Beths wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. at John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy. In Beths memory, donations to the Manitoba Alzheimer Society are gratefully accepted in lieu of flowers. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
