Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARMAND LARIVIERE September 3, 1931 - May 17, 2002 Peacefully, with his family by his side, Armand Lariviere passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Therese and by his children, Monique (Marcel), Gerald (Chantal), Janet and Joelle; two grandchildren, Maxine and Jesse (Buddy) sisters, Anita Preteau and Jeanne Carriere; two sisters-in-law, Celine and Alphonsine Lariviere; and numerous relatives and friends. Armand was predeceased by his father, Joseph T. and by his mother, Aurore; his brothers, Jean, Romeo, Roger, Gerard and Paul; and by his sisters, Therese and Aurise. Armand was employed by the DeSalaberry Municipality in St. Pierre-Jolys for 25 years. During that time, he was an avid volunteer, helping various local organizations including the St. Malo Fire Department, the St. Malo Club Sportif and the Club de la Berceuse. He never lost sight of his personal priorities, the love for his family, his special relationship with Buddy and the weekends at the cabin. He was forever the practical joker, making every family gathering memorable. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Joseph Choiselat in the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Wednesday, May 22, at 11:00 a.m. Prayer service will take place one half hour prior at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Armands memory to the DeSalaberry and District Health Centre Foundation, St. Pierre-Jolys, MB, R0A 1V0.
