FRANK LOUIS SLIVINSKI On Sunday, May 19, 2002, after celebrating his 79th birthday with family by his side, Frank passed away peacefully to celebrate his birthday in heaven. Dad was born on May 19, 1923, to Casmir and Katherine Slivinski. He farmed at home for 37 years. He helped care for his parents, cut pulp wood and hauled gravel by horse team to build roads. Over the years, dad also traveled the prairies harvesting and working road construction. In 1958, Dad met Mom on a blind date. They married two years later and spent the last 41 years in the home they built together. Influenced by his passion for driving, Dad followed his dream, purchased a loader and truck and operated a sand, gravel and peat moss business for many years. Dads family was his pride and joy. Together with Mom, they raised four daughters and enjoyed the blessings of the family as it grew. He never ceased to express his warm, caring love and always had words of encouragement. His family will remember always his storytelling, his humour and his passion for God and life. Frank leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 41 years, Jeannette; daughters, Debbie (Dieter) Discher, Sandra (Gordon) Heatherington, Brenda (Gary) Scott, Wendy (Bruce) Neufeld and grandchildren, Donavin (Christina), Dawn-Marie, Corey, Eric, Leanne, Cameron and Mackenzie and great-grandchildren, Anthony and James. He will also be missed by his sisters, Ann Winnicki and Mary Protosavage; brothers, Peter Slivinski and Paul (Steffie) Slivinski and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
