LILIAN McGOWAN November 17, 1924 - May 20, 2002 Lilian McGowan passed away with courage on May 20, 2002 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred (Mac) in 1985. Lilian leaves to mourn her son Peter, daughter-in-law Hilka, daughter Pauline, special friend Henry, grandchildren, Joyce, Christopher, Terry and Michael and six great-grandchildren. Lilian devoted her life to her family. She had a great capacity for generosity and loving. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be given to the Canadian Cancer Society. We will miss her.
