Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD ROY November 8, 1944 - May 20, 2002 With his loving wife Sandy by his side, Leonard Roy passed away peacefully after a short but courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 20, 2002. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Frank and Robert. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandy; daughter Shannon; stepson Robert; and his sister Doreen Berger from Ottawa; as well as nieces and nephews. Leonard was employed for the past three years for Arnold Brothers Transport. Prior to that, he worked for Duffys Taxi Service for 17 years. He had a great love for the outdoors. Leonard had a very quick sense of humour, but yet during his illness, his concern for others never ended. His love and concern for his wife was very evident in his life. The family would like to thank Dr. Salem and staff at Vista Medical and the palliative care staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. A private family service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one half hour prior to the service on Thursday, May 23, at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint).
