DINAH SNEESBY On May 19, 2002 in Winnipeg, Dinah Sneesby, aged 96, formerly of Oakland Avenue and Silvia Street, Winnipeg. Dinah lived in Winnipeg all her life. She was predeceased by husband, William, in 1983; parents, Margaret and George Goodall; brother Wilfred Goodall; and grandson Paul Bergson. Dinah was active in volunteer work for the Red Cross, Community Chest, and the Cancer Society. She was a committee member of the Manitoba Home for Girls where she taught typing for many years. Dinah was greatly loved and will be missed by daughter Diane of Vancouver; son William and wife Terri of Granite Bay, CA; grandchildren, Linda, Gail, Kimberly, Roy and Bruce; great-grandchildren, Melina, Melanie, Lisa, Shelina and Alec; and great-great-grandson Lukas. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Middlechurch Home. A graveside service will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 24 at Elmwood Cemetery. A family memorial will be held in Vancouver at a later date. Donations in Dinahs name may be made to the charity of your choice. Flowers gratefully declined. Dear Grandmother Dinah, How I miss you! Always a smile, easy laughter, a frank and brave way of speaking what needed to be said.
