Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL THOMAS FARACI (Retired Firefighter) With his beloved Winnie at his side, Paul passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital, Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at the age of 71 years. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his constant companion, Winnie; his children, Rosemary (Greg) Wade of Winnipeg, Tony of St. Albert, AB, Kim (Kirk) Brandt of Dryden, ON; his grandchildren, Rebecca and Andrew; David and Mitchell; Braelyn and Morgan; his brother Phil (Jeni) of Las Vegas, NV; his sisters, Josie (Fred) Grossman, Rosemary (Walter) Prychodko of Winnipeg. Paul also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; the Hill family (Pauls extended family) other relatives and many wonderful friends. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Olga, who passed away in 1992; his parents, Antonio and Rose Faraci; his sister Nell Maw; his brother Frank Faraci. Paul was a Winnipeg Firefighter for over 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was passionate about his efforts to fundraise for the Burn Fund. Paul helped organize the Firefighters Fishing Derby for many years and was tireless in his efforts and he was very upset when he became too ill to carry on. Paul enjoyed many weekends at Ingolf with his best buddy Elton and his wife Bev and all the other wonderful friends he had out there. However, his desire to spend time in Ingolf ended when his wife Olga died. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Firefighters Burn Fund, 202-666 St. James St., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 3J6, will be gratefully accepted. It was Pauls wish to be cremated with a private family graveside service to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 220 HESPELER AT HENDERSON HWY. 668-3151
