WALTER LESLIE SNEESBY Walter passed away on May 21, 2002 leaving behind his beloved wife Isabel; daughter Joan (Harold) grandson Ralph (Dale) and three great-grandchildren, Brenna, Tanner and Hilary. He is also survived by his brother Cecil (Joan) sisters, Kay and Thelma (Roy) and by many nieces and nephews whom he cared for deeply. He was predeceased by his brothers, Bill, George, Jack and Fred. Walter was a kind, caring, fun loving family man. He worked over 20 years as a porter at the Marlboro Hotel and then he moved to a position of clerk at the Manitoba Liquor Commission. After his retirement he enjoyed gardening and his green thumb was obvious by his beautiful yard. Many thanks to Fr. Roland Lanoie at St. Boniface Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. Ian Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
