AUDREY SULLIVAN Audrey Sullivan, 76, died peacefully early Wednesday morning at Deer Lodge Centre. Until the last few months of her life, when she was a resident of the respiratory unit at Deer Lodge, Audrey was a lifelong resident of West Kildonan. Her father Lee Fletcher was a builder and built many homes in the early part of the last century, including the home on Perth Avenue that Audrey and her family lived in for many years. She was predeceased by her parents Lee and Jane Fletcher; her brother Bob; and sisters, Ruth and Joyce; her husband Rick Sullivan; and daughter Ruth; and son Blair. Audreys intelligence, literacy and warmth were immediately obvious to everyone she met. She had a lifelong passion for reading and donated many books to the West Kildonan Library in memory of her daughter Ruth, who died in 1963. Although she was never in good health, for many years she also took great joy in regular excursions to the family cottage in Ponemah, MB. She is survived by son Paul in North Vancouver, his wife Elizabeth; and her grandchildren, John and Ann. In Winnipeg, she is survived by daughter-in-law Verna Sullivan and granddaughter Katie; Vernas daughter Leslie; and nieces Devon, Shelley and Arlene; brother-in-law Frank Smith, and his daughters Kim, Sharon, and Leslie of Saskatoon. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, May 27 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., followed by a reception at Chapel Lawn and interment with her husband and children in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
