Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJESSIE ANTONIO 1918 - 2002 It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of Jessie Antonio on Saturday, May 25, 2002. Jessie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Joseph, her husband of 58 years; her sons, Herb Kulik and wife Deanna, Jim Kulik and wife Gerry; sister Rose Boyko. Also cherishing her memory are her granddaughters, Brenda (Ken) Macaulay, Cathy (Ken) McLeod, Diane (Randy) Toker; grandsons, Darren Kulik and Glen Kulik (Mary-Ann) great-grandchildren, Amy and Alexander McLeod, Samantha Macaulay, James and Jennifer Toker, Riley and Brittney Kulik. Born on March 27, 1918, Jessie was proud to have lived in the North End of Winnipeg her entire life. Jessie always talked about her "house full of men" which included Joe, her father (Pop), brother Walter and her two sons. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain friends and family. Many will remember the card parties and get-togethers on College Avenue. Although her life was busy with cooking for all her men and working at Moser Manufacturing, she was never too busy to spend lots of time with her grandchildren, and participated in all their activities. Her great-grandchildren have brought her very special joy and our many family parties were a delight to her. Fortunately, she was able to enjoy them right up till the time of her passing. For many years, Jessie and Joe enjoyed fishing at their trailer in Pine Falls. They made many trips to Los Angeles to visit sister Rose and family, and also enjoyed Las Vegas and Hawaii. We have been lucky to enjoy the closeness of four generations in our family and for that we are all truly grateful. Thank you Mom, Grandma, and Baba for gracing our lives. Life wont be the same since we lost you. A special laugh, a special face - a special lady we cant replace, In our hearts you left a memory that time will not erase. Well always remember your friendship and the happy times we shared, We only hope that when you left us, you knew how much we cared. The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital (5th floor) for their excellent care and compassion during her illness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. Interment at a later time.
