DRUSILLA (JOSLA) McLEOD December 15, 1915 - May 11, 2002 "A friend loveth at all times, ..." Proverbs 17:17 "He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children." Psalm 113:9 In loving memory of our mother, mother-in-law, sister, auntie, grandmother, great-grandmother, and most of all... a friend. Peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2002 at the age of 87 years old, Josla left us to be with the Lord. Josla was originally from Cross Lake. She returned home on June 29, 1998 after residing with her adopted son Chris McLeod and his family in Birds Hill outside of Winnipeg to help raise his family. Josla was a very independent woman. She was well known throughout Manitoba. She did not hesitate to help others; she was a very compassionate and loving person. She enjoyed visiting family and friends whether that was next door or the next town. Her love for humanity spoke volumes for her passion and vitality for love and life. Joslas very best quality was her nurturing and mothering nature. She was buried at Cross Lake Cemetery, May 15, 2002. Special thanks to Cross Lake Community for all support. Josla leaves to mourn son Christopher Mcleod, daughter-in-law Doris; sisters, Eleanor Halcrow and Dorothy Ross (adopted) sister-in-law Frances M.
