MARY ZENUIK (nee WOLOWICH) April 26, 1927 - May 24, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary at the Riverview Health Centre, on May 24, 2002. Mom fought a very long and courageous battle with cancer.Karen) and David (Shirley) many grandchildren and great-grandchildre Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Barb (Gerry) Benoit, Gail (Dennis) Yestrau; and sons, Bob, Ray (n. Mom was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1988. Mary was born in the municipality of Brokenhead, MB and was employed by the Goodwear Glove Co. from 1966 until her retirement in 1987. Mom was many things to many people, a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, loving friend and confidante. We knew her to be loving, caring and non-judgemental. She will always be remembered for her great sense of humour and her quick one liners that would always bring much laughter to our family. Marys greatest pleasure in life was to always help others. We would like to express our thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff of the 3rd floor east Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre, your compassion, support and care of our mother will never be forgotten. You are all truly very special. Also a very special thanks to moms sister Eleanor Zielke for her love and compassion throughout moms life. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating Marys life will be held at Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., on Monday, May 27, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Sharon Wilson officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later time.
