DORIS FOX Mrs. Doris Fox beloved wife of the late Mr. Harold Fox, passed away at the Milk River Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at the age of 84 years. She is the loving mother of Douglas (Corinne) Fox of Winnipeg, MB, and Sandra (Bruce) Bryant of Milk River; four grandchildren, Allison and Sarah Fox of Winnipeg, Virginia Ridge (Corey Kinakin) of Castlegar, BC, and Robyn Ridge of Beaver Falls, BC; one great-granddaughter Brianna Kinakin. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Mary Niven Vaughn of Lethbridge, special friend Roger Ridge as well as several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1990; a brother Bob Niven; and her parents, Sandy and Lillian Niven. Doris was born March 2, 1918 in Lethbridge, AB, and was raised and educated there. She met Harold Fox and was married in 1940. Later they moved to Trail, British Columbia. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved to garden, as well as being an avid sports fan. Doris enjoyed needle work, spending many hours making blankets that she donated to charity. A celebration of Doris life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Monday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Peter Walker officiating.
