PEARL FARDOE It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother Pearl, on Sunday, May 26, 2002. Mom was born May 11, 1923, in Winnipeg, the daughter of Rose and Edmund Boothman. She was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Probetts, Ivy Grayston, Doreen Boothman; and infant twin brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Clifford; daughter Lorraine; sons, Jim (Audrey) and Jerry (Sharon) Fardoe; grandchildren, Kenneth (Shannon), Paul, David, Daniel, Amanda Wiebe and Bonnie (Kevin) Olson; great-grandchildren, Jessica-Ann and Amy Pearl Olson; sister Irene (Ralph) Pizzey. Mom was a very special lady. She dedicated her life to her family and home. Mom was a loving wife and mother. She was happiest when surrounded by family, who will never forget Moms thick crust apple pie. Mom loved to bake and Sunday was her day to fill the kitchen counters with sweets. She loved her plants and her garden. As well as Sunday drives to Lockport, mom enjoyed daily trips out for coffee or shopping. A strong willed feisty woman, she will be greatly missed by old friends and relatives. A special thanks to the nurses and staff (5th floor, Unit 4) at Seven Oaks General Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3, or Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P9. A graveside service will take place at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., on Friday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474
