Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES ORVILLE ORVIS The family of Charles Orvis sadly announce the passing on Saturday, May 25, 2002. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen; sons, Chuck (Anna), Wayne (Debbie), Laurie (Bev) daughters, Sharon, Leah (Don) 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, five brothers, four sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Catherine; brother John; son-in-law Greg Hilderman; grandson Rickey Pawliw. Dad was born in Selkirk, MB, September 15, 1924. He was in the Canadian Air Force, serving in England driving ambulance. Dad worked up until he retired in 1990. He built a cottage in Lac du Bonnet where he loved going. He enjoyed doing wood carving, cooking on his wood stove, playing crib, dancing especially doing the jig. He loved the outdoors. Dad was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Memorial service will be Wednesday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477Main St. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
