Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH JOHN HENRY SCOTT (M.W.O. Retd) April 6, 1923 - May 26, 2002 It is with profound regret that the family of Joe Scott has to announce his passing at the age of 79. Joe was born April 6, 1923. He spent a happy childhood at the family farm in Gunton, MB. He was predeceased by his parents, Wall and May Scott; and his brother Percy. He is survived by his loving wife Lisa; his daughter Karin; son-in-law Jim Tymkiw; and his dearly loved grandchildren, Joseph and Scott. He is also survived by his sister Leila Wesa and her family. He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Hannelore Kranert and Edith Thaden and their families in Germany. Joe rallied to his countrys service in 1941. He became a gunner in the Ontario (Tanks) Regiment. At wars end he decided to make the Army his career. He spent 34 years, retiring as M.W.O. He was a past president of the Teulon Legion, and Secretary-Treasurer of the Rockwood Centennial Hall. Out of respect for Dads final wishes, no services will be held and cremation has already taken place. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
