WILLIAM GEORGE CHIEF SR. William George Chief Sr. passed away suddenly at the age of 76 on May 27, 2002. William was born on February 26, 1926 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Ina Iris Chief; his children, William John Atkinson, Keith, Sarah, William Jr., Sandra, Mable (Mike), Faye, Karen (Elmer), Albert, Ralph (Delphine), Sybil (Richard) stepdaughter Arlene; brothers, Frank (Phyllis), Cecil (Marion) sister Mary-Anne; 40 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ester and Myrtle. There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Albert Alexander Chief and Emma Jane Chief; brothers, Roy, Tom, Joseph, David Lloyd and Patrick; sisters, Mabel, Shirley, Irene, Sophie and brothers-in-law, James, Ralph, Ross, Gordon and Walter. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr.
