Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE (LES) ARDEN MANSELL Suddenly on Friday May 24, 2002, Leslie (Les) Arden Mansell passed away at the age of 54. Left to mourn his passing his wife Joanne; son Mark (Melanie) daughter Stacey; his brothers, Tony (Irene) and Delmar; mother in-law Joan Lelond; many sisters and brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was predeceased by his mother Ollie and his father Lloyd. Les was born on November 6, 1947 in Hamiota, MB. After finishing school in Hamiota he moved to Thompson, MB in 1966 where he worked for INCO Ltd. underground and then in the mines research department. He retired from INCO in May, 1999 and moved to Stonewall in July, 2000 where he built his retirement home. Les loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He brought humour to others that surrounded him, particularly his family. He always had a great joke to share. Les loved the outdoors and spent a lot of his time fishing at Paint Lake and hunting with his brother. He also enjoyed completing home renovations, building things, fixing anything and everything, and attempting any new challenge in general. He was always willing to help others and would have given you the shirt off his back. He was so proud of his family and their accomplishments. He was deeply loved by his family and all that knew him. He will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and friends. He will always be in our thoughts and our hearts. Thank you, to all of those who helped at the scene of the accident, and to the staff at the Grace Hospital. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity or foundation of your choice in Less name. Funeral services are being held on Thursday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church in Hamiota.
