EDITH MAY WADE (nee TOMS) It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Edith May Wade, beloved wife of Donald, on May 28, 2002 at the Riverview Health Centre in her 82nd year. May was predeceased by her precious son Bruce Michael Wade on March 9, 2002. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Donald; son Andrew (Bonnie) grandchildren, Tammy (Ernest), Robert, Ashley, Brandon and Jeffry; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Victoria; sister Vera (John) of Mississauga, ON; brothers, Jim (Libby) of Western Australia, Henry (Dolly) of England and John (Dorothy), also of England, numerous nieces and nephews in Canada, Western Australia, New Zealand and England. May also left behind her lifelong friend, Isobel of Kintyre, Scotland. May was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, truly the heart of the home. She unselfishly put everyones needs before her own. A memorial service celebrating Mays life will be held Saturday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel located at 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mays memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
