Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT LLOYD WOODLEY August 6, 1947 - May 26, 2002 Bob joined his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Woodley after suffering a fatal heart attack at home in Lac du Bonnet. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Daken) brother James (Shirley) of Halifax; Jims daughter Susan; sister Joan Batten (Fred) of Edmonton; two aunts and an uncle in Saint John, NB; and several cousins. Jim, Shirley and Joan were visiting Lac du Bonnet at the time. Bob and Linda left Saint John, NB in 1971 and settled in Thompson, MB. They relocated to Winnipeg for 10 years and then Lac du Bonnet in 1990. Bob was an active member of the Lac du Bonnet Ambulance Service and had been known to dress in a red suit around Christmas. He loved living in Lac du Bonnet and was so proud of the home he and Linda had built together. Bob had recently returned to school, New Directions Adult Education, where he completed Grade XII after many years away from school. His ready smile, great sense of fun, respect for everyone and love of family will be missed by all. A master angler and so so hunter, Bob spent many hours fishing with family and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Lac du Bonnet Ambulance Service for their heroic effort to rescue their friend, and the Medical staff at the Pinawa Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E. Beausejour, MB on Thursday May 30 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lac du Bonnet Ambulance Service, PO Box 1030, Lac du Bonnet, MB.
