JONAS LITTLE Peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2002 at 9:15 p.m. at the Grace General Hospital, Jonas Little passed away at the age of 76 years. Jonas was born on September 17, 1925 at Island Lake, MB and had resided in Garden Hill his entire life. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his wife Dorothy; children, Pauline Flett (John), Tina Flett (Jude), Leonard Flett (Lorraine), Beatrice McPherson (Albert), Rita Harper (Alpheus), Tannis Wood (Raymond), Brenda Monias (Jefferson), Robert Little (Kimberly) and Verlin Little; one brother Donald Little (Ella) two sisters, Mary I. McPherson and Emma Jane Barkman; two sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Little and Priscilla Little, 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jonas was predeceased by his first wife Anna; two brothers, John Little and Annanias Little; two brothers-in-law, Abraham McPherson and Bailey Barkman. Prayers were said on Tuesday, May 28 at 8:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 at Garden Hill, MB. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden Hill United Church with Rev. Jacob Keno officiating. Interment to follow at Garden Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Central Park Lodge, 440 Edmonton St. and the Grace General Hospital for the care and kindness given to our father.
