GIACOMO SILVARI Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Riverview Health Centre, Giacomo Silvari passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at the age of 68 years. Giacomo is survived by two sisters, Domenica (Carlo) Demarin in Torino, Italy and Maria (Dante) from Winnipeg; brothers, Igniazio (Ornella), Domenico (Patricia), Antonio (Anna), and Mario (Faye), all of Winnipeg; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was born on June 10, 1933 in Dignano DIstria, Italy. In 1951, accompanied by his family, Giacomo came to Canada where he resided until his passing away. Giacomo was employed with Minto Armouries for 25 years, until his retirement in 1992. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31 at the Holy Rosary Church, 510River Ave., with Fr. Michael Raj Savarimuthu presiding. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, 506 Osborne St. Following the interment a gathering of relatives and friends will take place in the Reception Centre of the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O.
