HELEN MARGUERITE FROST (nee GOBERT) February 4, 1929 - May 30, 2002 Peacefully, Helen Marguerite Frost (nee Gobert) passed away at Victoria General Hospital on May 30, 2002. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Marilyn (John) and son Norman. She is also the proud grandmother of Cheryl, Andrew, Jeffrey and step-grandaughter Denise (Wayne). She will be sadly missed by her mother Edith; sister Phyllis (Gerry) brothers, George (Lil) and Willie (Irma) special friend Peter; numerous relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her father George and brother Gerry. Born in Winnipeg, Helen was raised on the Riverbend Dairy Farm in St. Vital. She received a degree in Home Economics from the University of Manitoba. After raising her family, she returned to the U of M and obtained her Masters of Education. She taught early childhood at various schools in the Winnipeg No. 1 School Division. In her retirement, Helen spent most of her time generously helping family and friends in any way she could. She also enjoyed camping at Birds Hill Park and morning workouts at the Reh-Fit. Cremation has taken place and a Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Helen may be made to The United Way, 3rd Floor, 5 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 2T4.
